Can the Bills Win A Super Bowl in 2023…

An AFC conference it feels like everybody has gotten better yet the bills haven’t. They still do you have some fire power on their roster, do they have what it takes to make it to the Super Bowl given their previous postseason failures, their strength of schedule this year, and their hard division?

The Buffalo Bills’ previous years of postseason disappointments has left fans skeptical about their potential for post-season improvement this year. The lack of true team improvements to their roster also creates doubt among the NFL community. Previous loses to AFC rivals Chiefs and Bengals have created a sense of uncertainty, as fans question the team’s ability to break the cycle without improvements in key areas such as the run game led by James Cook and their ability to stop teams from running all over them. This combination of past letdowns raises doubts among fans, making it challenging to believe in a successful turnaround for the upcoming season.

The Buffalo Bills could encounter difficulties emerging as the dominant team in the AFC East due to the rising competition posed by the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets. Both teams have been clearly making heavy additions to their roster, narrowing the gap in terms of skill between them and the Bills. The Dolphins have displayed defensive master classes with Vic Vangio and Jalen Ramsey, while the Jets have invested in offensive upgrades such as the addition of Veteran QB Aaron Rodgers, opposed to last year wen the offense was lead by Zach Wilson. This competition within the division means the Bills will need to consistently perform at their best to come out with around 13 or 14 wins, which will probably top the East this year, with the other teams right on the leaders back. Obviously, the Jets and the Dolphins have not been slept on, everyone is aware of their potential, but it can be argued the Bills are no longer the best team in the AFC East. It is possible that all 3 of these power houses can make the playoffs, but just remember their is only 1 guaranteed spot (as well as home field advantage) to who ever comes a top the Bills.

Even outside of the East the AFC as a whole is super competitive, teams will probably need around 10 wins to achieve a playoff birth in 2023, if the Bills fail to rack up 10 wins, they may not even be in the playoffs.

Is this roster good enough? I am not sure I think the offense is one-dimensional with Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen’s legs. Now they still are a great group, but compared to all the other teams in the AFC I’m not sure if they can keep up. I still think the bills will win East, but it is possible that they don’t and they may not even make the playoffs because of it.
